Recent Changes to the Web Site
These are the most recent changes to the web site as of December 10, 2002.
1) The new electronic minor work permit process has been up and running since September 3, 2002. By year's end, over 20,000 permits will have been filed from the 1,200 school locations that have been registered to enter minor work permits. If your school has not yet registered, please contact the Bureau as soon as possible.
2) The ability to submit union contract information for the establishment of prevailing wage rates via the web is no longer available. The graphic button on the home page remains, but it now takes one to an information page on how to submit such information via non-electronic means.
3) Several links to the federal government concerning labor issues have been added on the home page. This includes a link to the recently launched "Youth Rules!" web site. This web site contains information on federal laws which govern minor employment. It is maintained by the U.S. Department of Labor.
